An interesting mixture of different coloured carrots which is a great
way to get children interested in gardening.
In ancient times these different colours were normal, but over time
the variety as we know now was slowly developed as the other
colours lost their favour.
They require a deep well prepared soil which has previously grown
a leaf crop such as cabbage or lettuce. Fresh stable manure will
cause most root vegetables to become distorted or forked into
several branches.
As soon as the young seedlings are large enough to handle they
should be thinned out while at the same time removing any weeds.
For continuity of harvest sow a row every 6-8 weeks.
CAUTION: TREATED WITH METALAXYL-M, FLUDIOXONIL, IPRODIONE, ROVRAL AQUAFLO,
APRON XL350, MAXIM 480FS. DO NOT USE FOR PURPOSES OTHER THAN SEED.
